another day , another dollar , well maybe for some a few more than a dollar - maybe for one industrious CEO with a stake in his company ,  a cool 8,400 million dollars in a days personal nett asset appreciation

  World's richest man Jeff Bezos sets new record for wealth with $211B (msn.com)

He currently employs 798,000 worldwide , of an amazing relatively new enterprise 

I just find 8,400,000,000 dollar one day personal gain difficult to imagine - but continued good fortune to Mr Bezos

I'd be much more impressed if he paid those 798,000 employees a proper wage and took home a little less himself

Is it his company that pays physically wilting employees to leave permanently ?

In Australia the powers could increase the minimum wage ..... a fair go ! 

I think currently the rate tends to promote middle class welfare - although nothing like being a welfare benefit recipient to qualify for Govt welfare scrutiny ( all for a good cause - a better society !  zero risk behaviour  , predictable , socially clingy for group assurance , wholesome predictive corrections )
