I haven't done mine, but I keep having micro tears in my right one and one day I suspect it will rupture completely.
I know it will be freaking painful if it happens, just wondering if you could still walk on it and drive a car?

I will do a lot of stretching. Definately not something you want to get ever. It's pretty major if it really does snap

I was talking about this with our Curves gym owner quite recently. Hers happened when she was playing netball. She was in a cast for months and I can't remember but I think it was after an op.
Can you get advice on how to strengthen it because it is supposed to be very painful and will have you off your feet for a while.

I am supposed to do daily exercises for it, but I have been very lazy. Will have to set a reminder to do them.

My husband did his years ago, no, couldn't drive car or walk on it. Get medical advice ASAP, have it checked out anyway. Recovery is like getting over a broken leg. Good luck.

eek, no walking or driving! I've had xrays and ultrasounds on the leg and there is evidence of tendonisis, bursitis and haglunds syndrome. I also have plantar spurs in both feet. I'd be really screwed ATM if I did it now, all my family are on holidays and I'm home alone with two dogs.
Will be doing my exercises regularly from now on
