The Mothers Medal is the saddest thing I possess, it belonged to my Grandmother who lost her beautiful son.
This day is for remembering the sacrifice of brave men & women. Country towns lost a generation of golden young men, we all should never forget the tragedy of that.
This day is for honouring them...nothing else.
