I don't think this is new, I  bet that most countries spy on eachother most of the time.  Wasn't the USA recently accused of spying on Germany?

howard and downers behaviour (using security services for the benefit of a private company) was and is a disgrace. its ripping off the poorest nation in the region. corruption at this level is hard to take, i knew they were bent but not this badly..
