BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-shielas welcome.

Seems to be a lack of threads for blokes.
On other threads, some ladies have mentioned, their OHs
would post, but had no interest in most of the threads on offer.
I can bump this thead twice a day,so its easy to find.
Give it a go---Richo.

BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-shielas welcome.

Hi folks - Frank and I went for a drive and you guessed it.  Got caught in the ferocious storm.  Some of the hail stones were about tom bowler size and we have a couple of feint dints.  Frank parked beside a building to shield us from the brunt of it.  Now it's hot ... and humid.  I reckon you would have got bruises if you were out in it.  Matt, Kim and kids were at the resort and missed it.

Home alone at the moment - Matt's gone and Kim' taken the kids to the movies.  Lovely and peaceful Smiley Very Happy.

We went for a drive to Urunga today which is a lovely little village built on the huge Kerang river.  Lots of water sports going on in the river and lots of nice picnic spots then the river opens out onto the beach - lovely spot.  We then followed the old Pacific Highway back to Coffs.

Stawka, I don't know about you going up the ladder!  Send the OH and you hold the ladder Smiley Wink, or get your daughter to call around and tell her you'll give her some.

Good you had a nice day jv.  All sounds lovely,

No Dom - hope all is well and she's not suffering from a hangover.

Linda, my mum couldn't swim either.  I can remember one day she got in and used a car tube around her.  She was shaking her finger at me for some reason and slipped through!  Up she bobbed spouting water and scrambling around.

Have I told you about when I was a kid and swimming in the creek our house was beside.  I was raised an only child and I was swimming with dad and challenged him to see who could stay under the longest.  He went under and ran up to the house.  Next thing we here this panicked yell - "Joyce, Joyce Sandra's gone missing" and here he was duck diving around!  Must have been a bugger of a kid.

Lots to do tomorrow before we head off.  Dogs to bath, getting the nails done (very important Smiley LOL), washing the bed cover and packing.  I let my nails grow off when we came here but a young girl is doing them from home at a very reasonable price so going to get them done again.  We only use the sheets anyway and will change those Wednesday morning before we go so the visitors can use our bed.  Kim;s not working at all this week and has got 4 days next week when her sister is here.

Goodnight all ..... richo's probably already in bed.

Thanks freddie - that's exactly what you should be doing - we'll expect a bit more when that knee is working again Smiley Very Happy.  Sorry to hear that yet another friend has that dam n bc.  Hope the chemo works for her and she makes a full recovery.  Must say that the odds are for her these days unless she ignored symptoms.

Yep jv, Molly is going OK but still sniffing, she has such a good nose - they all had their tick & flea meds today.  The vet in Traralgon suggested starting them on the 1st of the month while we were still in Traralgon so they would be effective by the time we got here and it also made it easy to remember that they are due on the 1st of each month (monthly tab).

Spoke to my cousin in Mallacoota tonight and she said the prawns are running - hope they are still in next week.  They were going down tonight to do some prawning.  She also told me about the baby announcement - tears all around.  She was telling me that each ivf treatment they had, they would get a text and her son would buy flowers on that day to take home.  When the text came through positive after so many tries, she went to the party shop and bought 1 pink and 1 blue helium balloon and tied them to their dogs collar as she always runs out to welcome him home.  He knew straight away.  I think she is 16 weeks and I so hope it all goes well.  They are not complaining but it cost $80,000 all up in fees.  I think it stinks that it costs that much yet the govt throws money away on other rubbish.

Yep, travelling south of the border richo and yes - drinking more water is good for the "pipes" Smiley LOL.

Well, most back to work tomorrow - the festivities are over.
