It seems Pete Evans is in trouble

Maybe he should have left out baby formula, it is probably otherwise a good resource for parents.

Not according to Stanton, if I am reading it correctly.

Just another fad.  Maybe he hopes to win a prize.

I hope it is eschewed by every parent.

I was thinking more along the line of variety for parents looking for healthy meals. I'm interested to find out how he defends this one.

He found a money spinning band wagon that none of the other chefs are on and has decided to milk it for all it's worth.

I thought I read that his co host said he looks sick.

As above, just another fad.

Yes another money spinner however I believe most of the recipes are probably fine and better than anything out of a jar.

I'll defer to your better judgement on this one, since I have never had anything to do with babies or feeding them !

I have read up o his diet and just find it not what I would like or want,
missing too many things that provide a balanced diet (for adults).

I can't stand the way they all put so much salt on or in everything. Salt tastes bad to me and makes my lips crack and split, so do oranges

I follow him on facebook out of curiosity and the recipes seem pretty healthy and interesting, to follow him like some kind of god/guru is ridiculous. I also follow I quit sugar https://www.facebook.com/IQuitSugar and they have some interesting stuff too. The best of all in my opinion that I have found is https://www.facebook.com/AuthorityNutrition

Thanks for the links, I'll have a read of that. looks good at first glance.

I already know I eat far too much sugar, way to much.

I also used to eat far too much salt so virtually cut it out for the most part.

I even ask the fish and chip places to not put salt on as they like to smother them in salt !

BTW, do you like his diet for Adults ?

No I don't like his diet for adults however most of the recipes appear to be healthy. A lot healthier than take away food and junk processed stuff in the supermarket.

I guess I believe that everything in moderation. The authority nutrition guy backs everything up with science and is not fanatical. He recommends coffee and a bit of alcohol in moderation so that is more realistic for most people. I love coffee and it doesn't feel unhealthy to drink, although I don't drink alcohol for most of the year it is realistic that I will go to the pub sometimes or parties etc. His view on eggs is very interesting (I want chooks lol)
