Many dismiss Youtube as nothing more than a way to waste time watching music videos and whatnot. To me it's been a Godsend, enabling me to learn the right way to do various domestic chores, like replacing the starter (twice) on my Saturn, teaching me how to put a finish coat of texture on drywall, locate such mundane things as a fuel filter on a Honda Civic, replace one of those $110 HD bulbs on my SAAB, and this morning, after I discovered that my garage door opener was toast, what parts to order and how to install them properly........
How has Youtube proven to be an asset to you?

Even though I am hearing impaired and can't listen to everything, Youtube has helped me understand how some things work.
I was given a lovely and expensive ball of fancy yarn, all the way from England, but did not know how to work with it, as there were no instructions. I googled the name of the yarn and got a Youtube, step by step, instruction site. I did not need to hear, just wached closely what the woman did and finished up with a gorgeous frilly and lacy scarf.

I could go on and on but the point being you can't get that kind of reality with globalist controlled TV. Youtube is gobalist controlled as well, but until youtube bans it, anyone can upload a video, that gives worldwide perspective and information one can decide for themselves whats relivant.

Agree band, many handyman/gardening/maintenance/vehicle/cooking tasks that I have, regardless of whether I think I know how to do it, I have youtubed and found hints, pitfall avoidance techniques, or a full DIY explanation.
For some reason I find that most available youtubes seemed to be submitted by Americans which of course presents a translation issue in some cases
Recent examples include fertilizing zucchini, oil filter replacement, chainsaw adjustment (thanks to a Chinglish instruction sheet), preserving lemons, folding fitted sheets, worm farm assistance and a few more.

Among the most recent things I learnt how to decorate a birthday cake, how to change the side car mirror, how to set up HDMI,
how to use programmes on the computer, so many other things I don't know how I ever did without it.

Me too. I siliconed my shower thanks to Youtube. I left the main shower to a professional when the paint started bubbling off the wall.
