The Auction was scheduled for last night 17/2/2015.

Anyone know if it sold?  My thought was that it could sell for at least $1.5m.

Sort of Asset Rich / Cash Poor situation, I suppose.  

They may have borrowed against the house value to pay the moneys due.

Bad news for the neighbors though and I daresay it will start again when the council have to clean up the next mess.

$180,000 is nothing when the agent said the propertty could have reached 2 MIL.

They may own their property out right.

I read that they paid off their debt to the council and the auction was cancelled.

I bet they're really wealthy too
