Give me one of the strongest economies in the world ...than a Country that fuels fear and hate and then upsets other Countries
Anyone who was afraid BEFORE should really be afraid now imo.

Australian ships should not enter Indonesian territorial waters to pick up boat people, this is Indonesia's responsibility.
As for apolgising for alleged spying on Indonesia by Australia, Mr. Abbott was not responsible Kevin Rudd was.

Get your facts straight Kevin Rudd and Labor were in charge when this took place nothing to do with Mr Abbott or the Liberals.

Our Prime Minister was elected to be our Prime Minister. That is his job.
Spying has gone on for a long time in many Countries. There are actually some very good reasons why it is done in some cases.
.If we have Asian Countries thinking we joined with the US to stop Asian domination our Prime Minister needs to handle this very diplomatically.
There is a lot coming out around the world atm about Governments spying on Governments (international espionage) and some major players aren't impressed ...

Tony Abbott and the Libs are In charge now
and it's Tony Abbott words which seemed to have caused most of the problem here.

Tony Abbott was diplomatic enough not to get into a mudslinging argument about Indonesias spying and phone tapping Australian Government members.
In a 2004 interview, retiring Indonesian intelligence chief General Abdullah Mahmud Hendropriyono said his agency tapped Australian civil and military communications and politicians' phone calls.
General Hendropriyono said he presumed Australia did the same thing to Indonesia. "She is silly if she doesn't do that, you know"
I don't like either party, but I am trying to be fair.

Of course it isn't and noone has suggested it is, so I don't know why you put my ID in that post.
One would expect all Australians new & old to follow the law. Supporting people smugglers or being one, which is an illegal activity is not following the rule of law.
If an Aust citizen decided to accept money and assist asylum seekers to enter Australia by boat, then that would be illegal. If a citizen decided to support/assist organised people smugglers that is illegal. That is what my post refers too... nothing to do with posting on a forum.
If it is Australian to follow the rule of the law, then I would expect those people that do follow the law, would recognise and accept that people smuggling (accepting money from those who request, for example, a place on a boat to Aust) is an illegal activity and not support it in any way.

I think Tony Abbott is acting like a goose over the ' I won't apologise to Indonesia for the spying' issue. Only been in the job in a couple of months, not a good start.
