Halal certification funding terrorism = a big fat lie.
Crude Oil funding terrorism = fact.
So IF you are really so concerned about the spread of Islam, the horror of terrorism, and the threat of muslims taking over Australia then I suggest you stop driving a car.
So far this fact has been ignored in the halal obsessed threads which is very odd given the feverish arguments about Islamic terrorism.

it's not just boycotting travel.
Petrol plays a large part in the manufacture of plastic.
Are you ready to boycott plastic as well?

Smog, lung leasions, cancer rates, and what are we gonna do when theres no more to pump out from the ground, start taking it from the sea and have 3 to 5 BP distasters a week. Did you look at any of the links i posted on EVs?
No we can't cut it out completly, range limits of EVs prevent that, but we can stretch it out alot more than we are doing, use less, not none. While constantly looking for more efficient transportation. Even in electric cars theres alot of room for improvment, but unless more people put more of them on the roads, the ideas for any improvment won't come.
Even gas cars could do alot better on fuel milage. Look at some cars made in the 1980s compared to new cars of today. they are getting much worse millage.. Even hybrids of today have a hard time going the distance on the same fuel as say, a 1978 pure gas Honda Civic.

I don't think Lyndal feels the need to boycott anything. She was simply pointing out the absurdity of of it.
Totally agree.
My question was general, I just happened to hit Lyndal's post to reply with.
Please accept my sincere apologies if you feel you've been unfairly targetted, Lyndal .
