How many other evil people deserve this punishment in Australia?

no. there was yet another person found to be wrongly convicted on death row in Japan this week. i wonder how many innocent people have been executed.

No. Life in prison is worse than a quick death.

No.

No but life in prison with no chance of ever being released would be appropriate for such evil crimes such as this.

Deprivation of liberty for life is better than the offenders "release" through execution.
The death penalty only diminishes us as a society.
If it costs a lot of money to incarcerate them, so be it.
Let them dwell on their actions every day, just like the families and loved ones of the deceased will be doing.

I was reading this morning about a young man - in Vic I think - exonerated after spending time in jail for a rape he did not commit. A combination of contaminated evidence, a disinterested police force, a bumbling judiciary. Shameful and scary to contemplate if the stakes were higher (i.e. return of death penalty)

I agree.
There are currently 2 people who are appealing convictions that I know of, who are more than likely innocent. One has been released after serving his "life" sentence, has had his conviction quashed but the other is still in prison but likely to win an appeal soon.
Graham Stafford
Kathleen Folbigg.

I wouldn't feed him.
Hanging would be too good for this creature.

In the eyes of the justice system, Stafford is guilty and has served his sentence. He has been refused a retrial and a pardon.
