Gympie avocado grower, Kate Groves, in south east Queensland, has this year seen her best production in five years.
She has harvested almost 28 tonnes of both her Hass and Surprise varieties.
It is a very different story from the grower's season last year, which saw almost 80 per cent of her avocado crop wiped out by a hail storm.
That followed many years of persistent drought.
However, innovation and a helping hand from Mother Nature will see Ms Groves turn over a substantial profit in 2015, especially for her Surprise harvest.
Around 60 per cent of Australia's avocados are estimated to come from the Sunshine State this year and producers have struggled to meet the demand.
Let's hope the Avocado prices go down a bit then. Avocados are about $3 each at the moment.
I love my avis, I eat at least 5 a week.
Mostly in salads for my lunch at work, but happy just to spoon em out with a bit of lemon and salt n pepper, or just spread on toast with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
