And most of the country thinks this numbskull is suitable PM material??

And if that isn't bad enough when asked about Mr Kings proposed radical new policing system in which criminal suspects (only suspects mibnd you. Which i think means all Muslims in Mr Kings world)  would be injected with satellite trackable micro chips shot from a "high powered sniper rifle" his response was:

"I'm just not going to get into the micro-detail of policing," Mr Abbott said.

Micro detail? That is policing? How about "I'm not going to comment on what is obviously a ridiculous statement by King"? That would have been a more appropriate response Mr Abbott.

its a little bit scaredy -cattish to be intimidated by clothing ?  is he scared of the steroided up outlaws with their patches ? why not bring that up instead of picking on soft targets like women . he's a wuss or he's a liar.

You will find that he has actually addressed the "outlaws with patches" issue.   Perhaps that is something that I would have paid more attention to though...

   he prefers soft targets like minorities. i guess outlaws are a minority as well, the thing is.. did he refer to them in the context of  their clothing or their activities ?

i agree some find it confronting, i just question a man being intimidated by a woman because of her clothing . hence the wuss comment. i certainly dont. small quiet students walking past seem more intimidated by me

I am sure that you can see the difference between what Gillard (actually) said tactfully (''I can understand Australians that do find it a bit confronting; it's a little different on our streets,'') before saying it would never be banned, than Abbott agreeing with a racist redneck. 

As I said above, it is one thing for the average joe to voice his opinion ( and Gillard WASN'T talking about her opinion) but another for a so called leader to validate the opinion of someone like KIng by agreeing with him.

There are just too many blokes with smallish brains and other parts that like to parade around my neighbourhood.
