The traffic in the centre of Sydney has been acutely challenged in the lead up to trams once more being introduced in a couple of years.
The preparations mean that there has been some confusion for passengers of buses.
None more confused than the university student who got onto his "usual bus", promptly inserted the earphones, and slept expecting to wake at the terminating stop at his city's north-western suburb.
Last heard, he was awaiting a train in Canberra for a trip back to Sydney

"A second post to the Opal Card Confessions page showed an image of an Opal Card reader with a balance $9000 in the red.

But a chartered chopper to Canberra doesn’t even cost nine grand."
