We have our evacuation plan in place and our evacuation point is the local shopping centre. My question is, where is the safest place to park a car under fire conditions, on the roof, or on the ground level?
I was going to ask on the RFS facebook site, but reading it just now they have far more pressing questions to answer.

Under cover if you can away from flying embers.

Twinkles, there is no undercover parking at all, just ground level parking and rooftop parking on top of shops.
Mr. Grizz that makes a lot of sense, thanks.

Jean, wherever you park make sure you have a full tank of petrol.
It is the fumes which ignite, not the petrol.
I ran this past a RFB meeting last week....and they agreed.
