Hi Nef yes our lives are supposed to be all mapped out for us..........on the bad days one just has to get up and box on regardless........i do know that some days can be rather rough:) I lost my darling Dadda many years ago hed be 95 now if still alive...........there is not a day goes by that i dont think of him:)

Hi Miss and thanks for asking after Mother

We have her in a lovely room painted a soft lemon and lovely window outlook to some stunning azaeleas........hung some lovely pics the other day one she used to be very familar with..........but unfortunatlely her eyes have been a blank for a long time now.

My son visited her last week........there was no recognition.....no pupil dilate or contraction no eye movement following him no hand squeezing..........

The Welsh have a saying the last mile is the hardest........and as Dadda was Welsh........i think this saying sort of says the stage where she is at:(

I have had massive rows with the Doctor about her medication.......he is following the law to the last cross on the t:(

However my son made an appointment and went and saw him and took him to task over him not upping her pain meds opiates etc I had previously said to the Doc how would you like to see your mother /father in that state., his answer was a blank stare:(

He has a marvellous manner but for want of a better word is passive aggressive in the nicest way")

Anyways both myself and my son are on his case........and everytime i visit i ask to see Mothers chart to see that the pain level is staying at the increased level:)

She has a tv and lovely music in her suite but she doesnt seem to even look at it:(

hi all, well its a very warm day here in Adelaide, I want winter back..I dont handle the heat at all!
I am feeling ok today, and hafta go to the shops soon , grrr! Naji is looked after by friends when I go into hospital..and my mail is collected by a neighbour...

The blood test is tomorrow and I am hoping that it comes back ok!!! I cant handle any more hospital time.....

It's not very fair on me or Naji, all this time apart from each other,,,

hope you are all okay, and that things are looking up!

Hi everyone, PJ, I hope the liver tests are good too. Nothing worse than waiting.
I have just increased my family by 2. My sis's partner was involved in an accident last Thursday and suffered a broken shoulder blade. Today, after seeing 4 doctors already and some of them several times since.... and being sent home Thursday night, he has been rushed to the Wesley to have his spleen removed. He was on a big motorbike and was hit by a car, the car driver did not give way.
My nieces aged 9 and 12 are staying with us for now.

Thanks JV, I have to say, nor am I. However, he is 55 and has been riding for well over 30 yrs and has never had an accident before.
My boys used to have big bikes but recently have gone to only dirt bike riding. My 2 dil's also ride. One of my grandies wants to ride now. 😞

Yes there seems to be a fascination with bikes one either is madly in love with them or loathes them:)

oh no ! Karen sorry to hear that, just wishing him and you all well I hate motorbikes they just dont seem safe??

. I hate waiting but I wont know anything ti next week anyway, unless my DR gives me a call sooner.

And the waiting is the hardest part...........always the fear of the unknown:(
