COMMUNITY FRIENDSHIP THREAD FOR EVERYONE

Cheery afternoon all,

Hi JVH - so nice your mum got some fresh air and sunshine! Sounds like a very caring facility which is so important. Good luck with the painting - doors are so difficult to paint (moreso than walls) - AND I do hope your Titans win!

Hi pjbear - thank you kindly for the tips regards the show - it sounds like you hit the Adelaide one! I will certainly take your advice - I have been keeping off the foot as much as possible and it has improved - I do hope you are getting more support from your family. It makes such a difference - have a great weekend!

Hey nef - how's the UK research going? I saw you earlier in the sandpit with the Dame! If you do end up travelling abroad - at least we can still catch up on here to see how you are going!

Hi libby - hope all well your end. I'm hoping my sister from Adelaide comes down next weekend - or if she doesn't - will have to plan another trek - and the Hyatt hotel in Adelaide is not going to be a Hyatt for much longer - so OH would miss out on his points lol!

Lilly haven't seen you in here for a bit - hope all is well with you and hopefully the meds have kicked in and you are feeling better.

Hi Dame - hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Purple looking forward to an update on your trip.

hi dancing - do hope your mum is on the mend. Hope you are coping ok - the worry is awful when a loved one gets sick.

Hi scatty it was good to see you back.

Waves to everyone and have a wonderful weekend. (I just painted my nails and find typing dries them faster lol.) - There's a tip!!

Afternoon all,

I am registered with a organisation that finds SW's jobs in the UK I am looking for a sponsored visa but I'm not sure if I will get it as I only had 8 months experience in Child Protection and they ask 4 2 years.
But u never know, lol.
I have an interview on Monday for a cleaning job hey u do what u can 2 get the income in I reckon so even its $100 or $50 per week its better than nothing awnd it will pay for my austar and other stuff the lady who runs the business sounds really nice and I like cleaning I could also pay for my RSA and food handlers I guess if any jobs at the military come up.
The UK thing will take awhile it takes about 2 months to get a visa I reckon. I def dont want to work in London I would prefer Essex or Sussex. Has anyone read about baby P in the UK? Some sad sad child abuse stories over there.
Good luck to the Titans is Scott Prince still in the team? He used to be a Cowboy u know...

hello everyone
pj - hope the liver functions are better soon - just to give you a happy thought 100 doesn't sound like a huge rise to me, some liver function tests can go into the thousands! Depends on which one, but still I have seen LFT's come down really rapidly from thousands to less than 45 - with the right treatment.:-) Best of luck with your treatment:-x

karen - My apologies. On my previous post I talked about OUR diet! You are probably thin as a rake!!!:|It was actually Kylie and I who had agreed to go on the diet together! Silly me!:-D

Where is Kylie??:|

dancing - best wishes for you and your mum. Hope you are coping.:-x

Hi miss, purps and all, especially jvh, who keeps this thread running! Have a lovely weekend everyone - I'm gardening - hope you all have something as nice in mind.:-x

Damn, I had a long post, and the gremlins lost the lot.

I'm still around, just lurking. Depression is still here, perhaps not quite as bad. Insomnia is still an issue............sick of it. No luck with getting jobs......I apply, but hear nothing.
Still waiting to hear from the psychologist my GP has referred me to.

Kerry, good luck with your job hunting.

I had responded to each of you by name before, but now can't remember what I wrote, so I'll just say, I hope those of you doing it tough, have some good luck soon.

Life sure stinks sometimes.

Hang in there though, it's all we can do I guess.

Dame........if I see a red blur going at top speed along Boat Harbour Drive here in Hervey Bay, I'll know it's you in your chilli car.

Have a good weekend all!

I'm on Lexapro 10mg daily at the moment jvh. Takes a few weeks for them to kick in though.
Some days I'm not too bad, but others are blahhh.
Never mind, I'll get there.
Enjoy your auction, you might come back with something rare and valuable you bought for nix.
