wow this is cool I might hang out in here if thats OK ๐
I'm just feeling so alone and down in the dumps last year my marriage turn to custard and now my kids have left home I cant seem to find work here oh gosh I'm glad that years over and done with trying to keep a positive outlook on life for this year, There is this friend I have and he asked me if Id go out with him and I told him no I wasn't over my x as I still love him very much but cant say I'm in love with him, but it just did not feel right going out with another man, I guess once I do that then I have to realise that my marriage really is over, and thats a hard truth to relies, as he was my rock in life and I loved him very much, But new year new beginnings My friend came over for new years and spent it with me and we do have a lot in common and I think he still has feelings for me as he said "next time he gets us our tickets to the rugby" Oh I thought thats cool there maybe still a chance but I will leave it up to him to ask me again,

Good evening everyone!
JVH what a lovely time you have had with family (so happy for you!) - I find it takes visitors to arrive to get you out to see the local sights for yourself, lol! Enjoy the rest of the time with your son and your angel!
Hi dame - best of luck with Monday and your sister's shop! Wow wish we had a chef in the family - I would be forever snooping over their shoulder picking up hints (or leftovers, lol!) Hope it goes well!
Joemissbee a huge welcome to this lovely thread! Sounds like you have had a hard time and are a bit confused atm. My advice would be to take it slowly moving forward and try not to stress. Does not sound as though you are ready yet for a new relationship - you will know when you are! No hurry!!
Thank you so kindly for the scone recipe - always looking for a good one - will give this a try and let you know how it turns out. Look forward to seeing you in here soon.
Big waves to everyone else - hope you are all enjoying the holidays and look forward to hearing about it.
My lunch visitors just left and it was a big success - dishes almost done and napkins/tablecloth soaking - now I can rest.
Sweet dreams everyone!

Good evening everyone!
Hi JVH - goodness you have had a lot of visitors lately - I'll bet you are missing your angel already! Hope you get a bit of relief from that humidity tomorrow!
Waves and best wishes to everyone! Pjbear hope you are out of that hospital by now and much better!
Really tired today - so gave myself the day off lol. Tomorrow is OH's birthday - having friends over Tues. to celebrate - so it will be back into the kitchen tomorrow.
