Hi JVH hope you get some reprieve from the weather - sounds like it is a bit much atm! Hope you manage to juggle the car service and enjoy a nice relaxing dinner tonight!

Hey kezza - hold your breathe and count to ten and remember.....school goes back next week lol! I think a lot of parents are at the end of their tether atm - have you considered the salvation army shops for a new bed? I was told they are properly sanitized etc. before sale and come very cheap. I'm pulling my hair out today after looking after a 2yr and a 5yr old - but at least I get to 'walk away' - wish you could get a break too - it helps to re-charge the batteries!

Hi bella - you are so lucky having a 'handy OH' - my OH is not, unfortunately, but my brother is a builder lol and we are very close.

Had a great lunch yesterday with friends - lasted into the evening - hope everyone enjoyed their Australia Day too!!

Hi Miss and lucky lucky you have a brother that builds:).....so very hard these days to get tradies . I think also when one gets some age about them they can feel a bit vulnerable when having strangers coming to the home

Have been very lucky with Mother place as the people that put in the kitchen are life long friends with my son so one knows well and truly what they are like:)

Hi everyone and hope its not too hot where you are.......totally poleaxed with the heat here:( Was going to go up to see my son and his lady but just cant handle the heat.........been 35 and still super humid........its certainly not at all glamour living in the tropics:(..........sent the kids some flowers for their new home.......def going to go up Sunday regardless of the weather:)

Oh boy, such a hot humid day today up my way, felt like locking myself in a fridge and staying there for the day lol
Yep Miss mr beam is a bit of a treasure at times lol
Kerry, sorry things are not going right with C, hope it sorts out for you hon, and best of luck with your work ventures, have said for years now that you are such a tryer, it will all come together one day for you, I pray.
Yes miss, I am still stoked at what my friend did for me, so lucky I am.
One of my seniors I have told you about Elly, is rather unwell at the moment poor soul, I get so sad at times, they try so hard to look after themselves and not be a bother to anyone:(
I am trying to get one of her family members to come and stay with her for a while, so hopefully that will work out:)

Evening all :-x

Raining here atm, I have been lucky with it pouring down when I get home except come school pick up time it was bucketing down. Some roads are flooded on the way back I couldnt see out my windows turned the demister on and nearly died from the heat note to self bring towel for car windows next time.
The last light I go through to get home is a rail way track well I got over anxious and went too far out waiting for the damn green light and a train came didnt it I reversed quick smart stupid train what was it doing there at that precise moment typical!!
Lucky I was on the ball and reacted quick or we coulda been cleaned up!!
I was driving so carefully all the way there and back I hate driving in the rain typical as we were 5 mintues from home we coulda gotten cleaned up, lol.
Apparently the rain is going down south JV 🙂 our damn was 60% full yesterday.
Son went back to school today we flipped his mattress over and it will last for another for weeks I cant smell any pee I bought him some clothes cause I felt bad about what I said about him yesterday. The day off was good he says he has an assignment already and he has a male teacher. Last year of primary school.
Miss glad u had a nice lunch yesterday. I felt liked going to the pub which is just down the road but didnt wanna spend all me dough.

Hi Kezza and yes the little one is up to the stage where they like to try and exert their independence and that can show in quite a few ways.

Very hard rearing a child its a test each and every day and with no one to relieve you and step into the breach so to speak you get very little me time.........hard yards girl:)

Hi kezza you have to be so careful with those railway tracks! My mother and my sister nearly collided with a train once as the bells failed to ring and the gates didn't close - such a close call. My friend who is an ambulance driver always gives way at crossings regardless of warnings which says a lot after all he has seen. Thank goodness you are ok!
