Poor old Dear, it's so sad. I hope her daughter can bring her some joy and peace. She's so tiny Karen, I do hope she isn't in pain.

Thanks Freddie. The pain seems to be caused by food so she has those resource liquid foods. So far so good. The nurse comes out twice a week but they are flooded in atm.
I must go to bed! Can hardly see the keyboard in my alcoholic stupor! Night!

> Freddie, MIL Is flooded in, she lives near Grafton, however, she is ok, no better but no worse. Sill weighs less than 40 kg. Her daughter is coming up from Tassie in June. I suspect her chemo is palliative but she has an apt. in Lismore next month to discuss it.

Oh wow Karen my heart goes out to you you poor thing......and i often wonder why they give chemo when one is so aged and frail.......its a helluva a trip at any age:)

May she always be wrapped in love and care:)

Goooooooooooooooooooood morning all..........and had a dreadful sleep so will be having a nana nap later on.......... dont you just hate it when you wake up and cant get back to sleep

Got to tell you all something funny......read the book Shame about honour killings etc......oh dear how some of our poor sisters have to live.....and then i wanted to read the sequel.......i found out the book was called Daughters of Shame........so i quickly skimmed through Ebay and found a copy very cheap had it sent out from the UK........couldnt believe it when i got it........the title was Daughter of Shame.....NOT Daughters of Shame.......of course an entirely different book......the seller and I both roared laughing over me and my stupid mistake lol.......

BTW would recommend the book Shame to anyone great riviting read and a small window as to how some of our sisters have to endure in their lives makes one eternally thankful:)

Have a great morning everyone:)

Good morning! Funny about the book JV!
I am not hungover at all Freddie! lol. but my tummy is a bit icky. I had a lovely sleep though.
Agree re the chemo JV, I am a bit wary of the use of it when she is so frail too.
I think the Ensure is one of the ones she is having, she manages 3 a day. This morning I have to go to my daughters and mind the little grandson while dad does his bushfire duties!
Have a nice day all!

Hi Karen........yes i have often wondered the mind set and thinking process of some of the medical profession that seem to give out chemo willy nilly when one is very aged and frail. It is the most dreadful stuff to try and cope with even when younger:( It is something that doesnt sit that comfortably with myself

Do have a super day with the little man the company of the bright young thing will certainly lift your day:)
