Hello everyone
miss - Thanks for thinking of me - yes I do have some time off! And I just got back from a lovely relaxing holiday (1 week) in Darwin. Discovered the most wonderful place to stay, when I was there last year, (Moonshadow villas) and so took a "well deserved" week off - lots of lazy days and 3 terrific adventures - not least a trip out to Litchfield National Park with NTIndigenous tours!
Tess, the young woman who runs it is a delight, and I was most fortunate to meet lots of her family, and get a real feel of what it's like for Aboriginal people in NT. Came away feeling like one of the family!
Anyone on the list going to the NT - definitely check out Moonshadow and Tess's tour.
Unfortunately I came home to a sick Scatty cat - he seems to have a bowel obstruction, again! Enemas don't work, and he's so old I don't want to put him through the vet thing - he hates going in the car, and was so sick last time.
He seems comfortable enough, although he's not eating - we go through the usual routine, but he just has a taste and then settles down to sleep. He's getting lots of cuddles, but I fear he's not long for this world.
dame - hope all goes well with Alex's visit - once they get there!
Best wishes to everyone on the thread and a happy Easter to you all.

hey scatty.. how goes it? have you tried giving the scatty one paraffin oil, just 1 or 2 mls every day til he is going regular should do the trick, it's what we used at the vet clinic where I worked ages ago...how old is the scatty one? And how are you chickadee?

Hi missy, I am getting very nervous now, i think its the waiting thats the hardest part, I am crossing everything thats crossable so that they dont cancel again...
enjoy those hors' d'ouvers wont ya... it's not anything icky like oysters or olives is it *cringes* LOL...

I had a pretty good day today I went and saw Alice in Wonderland in 3d and in Gold Class , gee talk about luxury... huge big puffy soft reclining chairs, and waiters and waitresses, serving people, it was really nice for a change,,,, the movie was great , heard some good and some bad, it's not really a kids movie as it is rather dark.....but talk about expensive gee tickets were $35 each and the food oh my, $21 for a small pizza and $5.00 for a glass of coke,,,ect...ect So I took my own orange juice and a chocky bar..LOL..

jen how many lil white balls has your OH chased and how many has he lost? my uncle used to play golf, and as kids we would run around collecting tee's and golf balls,

hope you are all well and had a great long weekend!!
