Hi chrisblack - truly understand the tranquility you refer to. Especially nice to share such occasions with good friends. I am a real 'people' person and find I get most of my happiness from seeing others happy.

I'm baaacccckkk (ok that sounds scary lol lol)
The shortness of breath went and my leg is fine atm so I decided to leave it till Friday am as I can't get in earlier unless its an emergency. If I have another episode I'll call the after hours number.

I don't think its worthy of panicking but I will get to the bottom of it.

Good to see so many around on the thread. Miss its been cold here too so I've been next to the heater most of the morning.

Bowen thats really unique stuff you are marketing as well........have you thought of selling internationally at all?


Also for example with the bracelet.......i would have gotten rid of all the back ground........the feet for example in that picture are very distracting........display the bracelet in a few different ways


Also with the bracelet........you should be making the postage registered mail.......covers you against a dishonest buyer and they are out there:(

Hello JV, thank you for taking the time to help me with your valuable advice.

Looking at the pic of the bracelet I see what you mean.....as nice as my daughter's feet are, they dont make for the best marketing tool !!

When I was entering the postage details I added registered mail as an option to give prospective buyers a choice but this is, I guess , just one of area's that I haven't thought through. Will change that straight away.

I am really new to ebay, in fact I am new to making products like this for sale.

I am a Engineering Patternmaker by trade, making patterns for pressure injection die's, foundy's for metal casting etc but I have spent most of my life making sets for film and tv. I cut my teeth in the industry by building and installing the sets for shows like Countdown ( if you remember it ) but all that came to a grinding halt when I broke my back 2 1/2 years ago.

The jewellery came about from making them for my children for Christmas and birthday presents.
I spent the last 8 months doing some serious R&D getting the mechanics and coatings just right so the items that I produce are very durable.

Now I have all that down pat my new learning curve is the selling.
