Hello all 🙂

Not such a bad day here today 🙂 Still sore thou but such is life! I'm off to a mothers day morning tea at school today with DD11. So that will be nice 🙂

Apart from that an easy day with lil prince and the girls today. It's been pretty cold here, falls creek got a light snow covering over night. I think we will be in for a bumper season. I'm hoping to get up there this year, last year seemed to pass me by to quickly lol

Oh and just a word of warning when you go shopping and use EFTPOS always check the amount before putting your pin in. Yesterday the operator at woolies got it wrong and stung us for 540.00 instead of 255. Lucky we checked the receipt! After about 30 mins of the till being counted we finally got our money back. But what an ordeal!

Anyway better get going. Have a good day all

Hi Bella and thanks for the heads up on the EFTPOS......one has to have eyes in the back of ones head..........yes thats an ordeal you can do without.....especially with your back being the way it is and having to stand up in pain.......hope you had a nice hot drink when you got home:)

Hi Zaid i love the south island cannot abide the north island the best part of the north island is the departure lounge in the airport..........think that Auckland has to be one of the dirtiest cities ive been in for a very long time and have done quite a bit of travelling:) Should know within the next week when im chuffing off:)

Hi MIss and great to hear from you..........yes for some reason this birthday has for once made me pause and reflect....thinking im really lucky to reach the age i am plenty dont unfortunately:(.....yes am getting really back into the sewing our Angel is chuffed that she is getting her clothes made now..........told her i aint doing tailored jackets again so please dont ask lol

Mooooooooooooooooorning morning all . I know some of you are doing it tough with the cold.........cant believe the last two days here........have the house already totally opened up.........and horror of horrors had to put the air con on cool in the bedroom last night........

Not much happening.........might have an amble around the shops and get a couple of skivvies to wear under the tops im making........and then come home and do a bit more sewing........had forgotten how much i missed making my own clothes. Was always an individual in the way i dressed so is good to be able to put the personal touches.

Waves to everyone on the thread, good morning to all of you!

JV its been cold here too, I believe there was more snow on the mountain last night. I've had the coonara going for the last day or so and now nearly every night.

There is nothing cozier than a warm house and a fire to have hot cuppas by!!! Actually I used to love it when we went to the pub for tea and sat near the open fire......

Well I'm a year older today so off out for coffee and to buy myself a present (someones got too) lol 🙂
