Afternoon all,
My day has been a sad one and a mixed one, tomorrow is my son's birthday, he would have been 26 yrs old, he died of SIDS, he was 3 and a half months old.
My baby son who is now 19 plays football so i went off to see him play'
My son tackled another player and his mother yelled out to my son "Get off him you fat C"
I just stood there with my mouth wide open, then i just told my son to play on, and clapped him, this boy about 18 said to me," shut the F up you fat S...
I was so stunned, then my son went up to him and yelled out to knock it off that i was his mother, and it was on. My son came off, i talked to him about tactics other players use to get his team off side so to forget it.
My son was talking to the boy he actually tackeled and my son said to him" sorry mate i didnt mean to hurt you. The other kids said NO worries I understand"
The other boy who called me names kept going and finally got taken off for his behaviour, i didnt say a thing to this kid.
After the game the women that called out to my son, started walking over to me and I thought here we go. I stood up and she said she was sorry for what she had said and told me she had no right, she had apologised to my son and i thanked her and asked the where abouts to the other boys mother.
I went up and introduced myself and said that i didnt appreciate him calling me those names and he needed to apologise, he stood there looking at me and he went to say something and his mum and dad looked at him and said "you said what?"
So he was made to say sorry to me,my son and my sons team including his own. I was ok with it all and went on my way.
My older daughter brought her son over and he wanted to stay with me so i took him to the park, as i can not go running around after him i sat and watched him.
There was this dear little boy who was about 6 yr old and these three other boy's around 10, at first i thought they were all playing, until i got a good look and saw they were bullying him, making fun of him jumping around like apes and making monkey noises, the little darling was a dark boy, he was crying, these boys pushed him and i got up and went across to them, told them they should be ashamed of themselves picking on a little boy and it took three of them to bully one little boy.
The kids all told me to get F'd, so off i followed them, i went up to their father and told him what they did, all the while two out of the three boys were making fun of me and saying i should go fall down a hill. The father told them to get into the car and then looked at me and said to them say sorry to her.
The kid has these shirts on representing some greek club, so i told them, they were wearing a club shirt and whilst wearing it they were representing the club and i was going to report their behaviour, it was shameful and disgraceful. This one kid i just wanted to grab out of the car and throttle him, calling me a boong lover, and the dad did nothing.
I turned to the father and said its people like you that do nothing to teach your children to have respect for others including the country they live in, grow some and tell them to show respect, is this how they treat your mother? if one of my sons ever spoke to a women or treated another human being with such dis respect as his kids did then theyd be punished. He shrugged and said well ok.
I came home so disheartened that these children did this to the poor little man, he just looked at me with his big teary brown eyes, then put his head down crying. My heart feels sad that people just dont have repsect for eachother anymore.
I will be haunted by that little boy's face.
