Hi JVH anythings possible re the pooch as I was totally distracted the whole day! He seems ok tonight. Just got OHs pills for him and could not believe the amount and variety! Foot still giving grief regardless.
Shopping today was same as usual - no great sales - and no car parking woes. Think they are all on holiday your way lol!

Kezza glad you had a nice day! You are too young to be without a family not just at Xmas but all year round for support/company. Any age really it is difficult. So glad you have C a gift and a blessing. Hope you have close friends or some distant relatives close by. I'm guessing Xmas is the hardest time for you and many (sadly!) I'm hoping 2012 will be your year! Stay positive ! You are doing a great job!

Having lunch with a gf tomorrow. Shes a really nice lady I'm glad she rang today.

Hi Miss and sorry the meds are not working for the OH has to be a big worry for you both.

Up with the fowls for the OH to go to golf and then will be home to watch the cricket ............has his day all planned.

Very humid here already off to start the washing machine and have a quick tidy then out for breakkie.......love to go out for breakkie.

Slept in watched 6 movies yesterday, saw Red Dog very sad movie and true as well apparently loved the music all 70's brought back memories as a kis of the 70's, lol.

Miss maybe yr pooch was overwhelmed with the amount of people there and became a bit protective of you my dog bit a few little girls as well which is out of character for him.

Jen hope you have a Nanna nap after being up so early...

I miss my family I have cousins that are neices and nephews of my Nana but they have their own family and cant be bothered with me I'd feel out of place anyway.  I got invited to Xmas lunch twice since I had Caleb they were nice days but we never got invited back again, lol....

Hey Kezza good to see you out and about.........i think maybe a lot of us or some of us look at all the families that gather together at Chrissie time and think hell why cant that be like that for me etc.......a bit like looking at a couple holding hands walking down the street......and being a bit envious.........truth to tell they might be entirely different behind closed doors.

Yes Christmas time can and is very hard time for a lot of people.....somehow one has to deal with it and hope to goodness its over and done and dusted very promptly:)

I gotta tell ya Jen when I was pregnant and when I just found out I was pregnant a lot of people told me to have an abortion and that it would be too hard on me to raise a child as I have no help but 1 friend who I used to cry too all the time (saying I'm all alone I cant do it ) who was a trainee social worker and old school friend said that I rebuilding my family. 

Tradegy has really struck my family since my Grandparents my Grandmother was one of nine and my Grandmother only had the one daughter her sister's kids say she had more but got rid of them cause she didnt want to end up llike her Mum.  but my Grandfather loved kids his sil had 5 kids and her hubby died young so Grandad was always over there.

Good news I get my new shoes on Tuesday so I can start walking and ensure I'm alive to see my Grandkids...going to enquire about those power balance bracelets I think there about $50 any one heard about them?

The OH had one of those power balance bracelets that he got in from Honkers..........didnt pay a lot for it and didnt seem to get any benefit from it either.......still as bloody set in his ways either with or without it lol

Hi JVH sounds hot your way! Went lunching and then shopping with my friend didn't get home till 6pm was a great day. I bought a little black dress and she loved it and bought one too lol! We just have to make sure and not wear them at the same time.

Hi kezza yay getting the shoes. Would be a bit wary of the bracelet haven't heard any good reports on them just indifference. Kinda like JVHs comment about them
JVH is right about the behind closed doors comment. Take a secret poll and you would find very few people are really happy. think you would be very surprised.

Hi Miss and had a chuckle at the girls buying the same dress lol

My late friend was and loved to shop.  My late hubby and i had a very large home in Qld...big queenslander.  My late friend used to love to shop.........so she used to hide some of her stuff in our house.......as my hubby was never at home let alone in the country lol  She had a key and would put stuff in cupboards in her room lol then would decide to air the new dress shoes bag......as we were the same size she would tell her hubby oh thats something that Jen lent me.....of course we had to get our stories very straight....neighter husband ever wised up to what was going on lol

Hi JV rofl at the antics with your friend. I am so sorry she is now a 'late' friend. Sadly very special friends are few and far between and should be cherished while we are blessed with them. Sounds like your friendship was extra special.

Kezza I can't watch sad movies/read sad books as they impact me too much. I accidentally stumbled across a link a month ago about some sicko who purposely distracted his kitten to allow his big snake to eat it and I'm still reeling and having a hard time with it. Wish I could throw that sicko to some lions to show him some terror!

Dame you are missed! Thinking of you and hope you are ok!

Lol Miss yes we lost my darling friend this year.......still i dont think will ever get over it or get my head around it...........she was with me as my late hubby was out of the country when i had my son.......she simply was an angel to so many.......but shes with Pete now and thats all that counts.

Just back in from the yard we are both jiggered so am going to have a large nana nap.........always something to do when you have a house and a pool.........pool being a 4 letter word today lol
