OH NO at the ceiling!! Seems a never ending project. Hope the insurance co will step up to the bat. (we paid our excess over a year ago and work still to commence here). We are looking at paying and getting it fixed ourselves and sorting it out with them later. First ever claim/approved and one big headache lol!

OH is at the docs now for his daily check.

Cooler today no excuse for a walk. Wishing everyone a great day!

Lol yes Miss the never ending story at least the new ceiling is in was a devil of a thing to get down as the ceiling plaster was sort of tied and then plastered to the ceiling joists........the fixer plasterer will be there on Monday i guess with the house being so old and my mother never wanting tradies in there( smart woman my mother) lol its been a massive job and ill process the claim and pay the builder rather than muck around with the insurance.  They were marvellous when we were robbed very understanding etc......so thems the breaks

Hope the OH is feeling a bit better today good that hes going to the docs daily although that would have to be a bit of a drag:(

Yes your mother surely was a smart lady avoiding the trades! Sounds like a big messy job. I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end when the house stands proud and regal again!
BP was on the rise again - another referral to yet another specialist. Seeing my sis on sun (naturopath) and she has some comfrey for me to try on his foot. Will give it a go as she treated someone with a similar ailment with success. Can't hurt! Long drive to the country Sunday for a family event. Sadly OH will not be up to it.

Also hoping Kezza is staying cool!

JVH had hoped today would be a day off for you! Hopefully tomorrow you can kick back a bit (very deserved!)

Late in tonight spent the day preparing/shopping for tomorrow driving out to the country for a family day!

Yes Miss hoping he does turn up will be another chunk done in the renos.......when that room finished just the painting the blinds and what to do with the floors......not much if one says it quickly lol

Hi JVH does sound like you are coming down the home stretch! I'm sure whichever floor/blinds you opt for will look awesome! Think the cosmetic part of renovations is much more fun than the technical messy stuff!

Yes Miss getting there maybe tradies in in the am if not first cab wednesday..........am thinking a very fine micro silver brushed look for the blinds.......thought it would look nice with the stark white and the timber floors......still have to find someone im happy with to polish the floors......

Wickedly humid today got taken out for a surprise din din this evening:)
