In regard to the phone.....that you are having a problem with type into google

the model number of the phone and pin number required to unlock it......you just might find something:)

Has the Doc tested your thyroid to see if thats ticking over ok.......as if its not functioning ok........that can also cause major depression.

Yes i feel totally powerless with mother......im just praying she is so out of it that she doesnt know whats going on:)

Try the anti-depressant medication - it can't hurt you - and might just make a difference.
Thank you again for not disappearing from the thread - no matter how hard it is for you.

Sorry - I meant " a different" anti depressant medication for Nef - it has been shown that it can take up to 3- 4 tries to get the right one for each individual - perhaps Efexor isn't right - try others.

Gooooooooood morning and hugs to everyone.

Another magic day on the Goldie........think its going to be in the mids 20s

Neferitti..............thinking of you.........please perhaps get a second opinion.......there are some marvellous doctors around and some not so good ones and yes often it takes a few changes of meds till you get one that works just for you. Do you have anyone that can stay with you and give you some company .........got to be very tough on you:)

Thinking of everyone thats doing it tough at the moment..........lets hope better days ahead for you

Off to Brissie to have a look at a couple of retirement places at Victoria Point........at least its a start.......lots of paperwork to wade through and when and if we decide to take to the legal eagle....retirement living very different to buying a freehold or strata title place.........and something im not entirely comfortable with:(

Of course cant do any moving etc till Mother passes over........will go see her on our return from Brissie:)

Nef -Thank goodness you are ok (at least physically) please get to your doctor soonest - or give Beyond Blue a ring - you can't do this alone and you have that lovely little boy depending on you! Thank you for coming in here - and please keep coming back - we care! Your meds are obviously not cutting it and need to be changed soonest!! Forget about job hunting - concentrate on YOU - and everything else will fall into place - you are the most important and that little boy of yours. I am so sorry you are this down - but with the right kind of help things will get better.. and the sooner the better!! Depression is a disease and it's horrible - but it is fixable! (())

JVH hope you enjoy 'house shopping' - it's good to do lots of homework before you take the plunge anyway. (Also make sure you read all the fine print - as friends of ours just caught something in time which nixed the whole thing for them regards a retirement home).

Hey libby - yes loved having my neice (I don't have kids of my own) - but I caught her bug I think and was up all night sick as a dog. OH was running up and down fetching me ginger ale. Oh what a night!

KERRY I am so sad for your pain, and so pleased your dog was there for you, I have said to you over the years how proud I am of you as you are one tough cookie, you are the head of your little family and you can take it in your stride, you know that you WILL get another job, because you do not throw the towel in, you have the intestinal fortitude to keep trying.
