Gooooooooooooooooood morning all and another glorious day in Paradise.

Have my son staying over last night........we had to go down and see Mother........not a good look there..........she has had to be moved out of the dementia wing and into her own room in the nursing home.........as its not that long before she will have to have a drip to administer the morphine etc......and in the dementia wing as the oldies touch and pull everything def not suitable place when one has a drip in the arm. Tough day for my son.........hes one very tough man but didnt handle seeing his gran the way she was..........he reminds me so much of his late Dadda.......tough as nails but when its family goes to butter......hell be going back up to our Angel later today

More tidying up whilst my son is here and some lifting one of his mates coming around to help:)

Good Morning to All,

Big Hugs to Jvh and your son,It must be incredibly hard for you both to watch your mum/nan go through this.Is your mum in pain Jvh?I know with my nan she had liver cancer, that towards the end they upped her morphine and she was able to pass reasonably peacefully.I feel for you both at this difficult time.

Hi to Miss,the weather here is much improved but still can't quite make up it's mind weather to be sunny or raining.But that's spring for you the one good thing is our resivoir is up to about 60% capacity.

Good morning all!

JVH so saddened to hear regards your mum - at least she is getting good care and hopefully she is comfortable. Very stressful time for you - I'm glad your son is with you. Hope OH is playing golf today!

My foot is just badly sprained so it is bandaged and I have painkillers - fortunately I can still drive (left foot) - otherwise I would be climbing the walls. No dancing for me sat. night! Thank you for concern!

Hey libby - I'm missing Adelaide but my sister and family are coming here in 3 weeks time - it will be nice to return the hospitality. (I got an awesome vintage dress in 'Serendipity' - you should check out this great shop in Glenelg!

Hi Libby and yes its been a bit of a rough road.........one wouldnt allow a dog or horse to go through what she is going through.......and she would hate with a passion still being alive , but it is something that we totally have no control over:(

Well that was a quick trip to the Gold Coast. Ordered and paid for the roof rack and home again. Then visited a friend.

Managed to get the booking done for the ferry to Tasmania. Sailing on 16th November. Was very pleased with the price and we get a cabin as well. So should have a good night's sleep.

Yeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaa Purps that is some ferry the OH and i went on it about 18 months ago.......for a ferry is the height of luxury.

Tassie is marvellous and you are going to have a blast seeing all of it.

There is a train trip out of Strahan up to Queenstown the name escapes me........well and truly worth the dollars of the trip.........have tried many times to do the Franklin River cruise but the weather has always been mega off:(
