Good afternoon to all. 🙂
JV, I only just found out about the rally, the road is closed in front of our old farm as the road is a loop and is part of the course! Hubby is cross we aren't still living there, lol. I did hear that someone even took the rally organisers to court to try and stop it!
It's 4 days, so really, the amount of income for the towns possibly far outweighs the disruption?

bought 2 bottles of wine for last night and didnt drink them, lol. didnt feel like it I intend getting up 2morrow at 8 for church. We were going to go to bible group on Wednesday headed out and the woman lives out woop woop I am terrible with directions and it was pitch black and luckily I was going so slow i hit a medium size kangaroo it did no damage to the car but I killed the poor thing. I was so upset I went home and phoned the lady. I kept thinking I wonder if this is a sign the first time I've been to a bible class in over 20 years and I hit a roo along the way one of god's creatures I kept thinking if only I left 5 minutes earlier...
I had christian music playing in the car so maybe this saved us I feel it could have been a lot worse if I was driving faster or even the speed limit. It really shook my son and me off knowing we killed something 😞

I hope all is well with you jv thanks for yr prayers I'll need them if I get that job I reckon, lol.

Hi Karen yes that is correct and some lady did take the rally people to court lost and i think tried again.

Some morons were going to get road kill freeze it and then chuck it on the road and then blame the drivers..........their thought process boggles the mind

I do believe there are 150 blue boys on duty in the area.........shame as there are other areas where their presence is way more urgently required:)

Hugs Nef and thats rotten bad luck re the roo........they are like grey ghosts they can appear from nowhere........yes gives one a horrible feeling to the pit of ones stomach.......glad that you and the little one are AOK from the accident 🙂

How is the job hunt going for you girl......are you getting any joy at all..........?

Hope that apart from everything else the weekend is being nice for you both.........say hi to the little one for me please:)

Lovely day here, ladies. Somewhat hot by our standards for the last week or so.

I'm just waiting for my tomato plant to ripen. I have 50+ fruits on the vine. YES!! I see salsa in my future.

Hey and nice you to drop by.......am currently growing black russian tomatoes.........not sure if im into the flavour or not but will be great for cooking.

Evening all.

Still feeling very tired. Not getting too much done around the place. Today we managed to get the timber to build the new drawers for the back of the ute. Also got a new HD televison to take with us. But alas it does not work. So back to the shop tomorow. Hope we can stop spending money now. It is cutting such a hole in the bank account.

We have got six children here this weekend. T has gone to boot camp tis arvo and her partner has been babysitting. Lucky man. ]:)

Thought about going out tonight but am just so tired that I can not be bothered. Going for a drive tomorrow to visit my friend for coffee. So something to look forward to. Must admit I will be so glad when I have lost this drained out tired feeling.

Hi Nef and yes it is used to be my drink of choice the odd time i had a quaff..........can now take it or leave booze.........should have owned a pub:)

Hugs Purps and interesting that you are saying that you are so tired....ive been totally jiggered since having that rotten flue.........im going back to the quack next week unless i lift my game..........by about 4 bells in the arvo im ready to hit the kennel:)
