Another top day on the coast and the OH has gone to golf thank goodness

Not that much happening finally got Chrissies rellies on the plane back to Ireland complete with Chrissies ashes............they promised that they will be back in a years time this time to take a holiday. The extended family have a mass and service for Chrissie on the 2nd March in Ireland.........very pressing invitation to attend but have a fair bit on my plate at the moment

Tomorrow i go and see my son as he has the day off and im going to be looking at retirement places up reasonably close to where they are...am a firm believer in getting oneself sorted before one gets too old and then start thinking about where they are going to retire to etc etc.....one has to be so careful before moving into a retirement situation as a lot chose to keep a huge fee at the end upon ones death etc.....called in the trade an exit fee.

Good morning all. Bit cool here this morning and was a cool night. So i slept very well.

Today we are just hanging around camp for the most part. Although we will go to the shops for a couple of things. Might get those mundane things like the washing done. lol

Oh and I weighed myself and now have only 800grams to go before I reach this goal weight. Then I can start on the next 5kgs. Very pleased with myself. I know I could have done it quicker if not for those blasted choclates than jumped into my hands screaming, eat me, eat me. lol

Bella hope you are doing well.

Kezza good luck. Probably nerves making you feel uneasy. I know you can do it.

JV hope you have more "me" time. You need it.

Morning everyone here 🙂 well another lovely day due down in Tasmania. Might do a bit of gardening I think.

Oh grandies! I have three but don't see any of them as two of them are in Canberra and I am estranged from my daughter and one is in the far reaches of Queensland.

I do get many many photos of her tho and emails and phone calls so I do feel part of her life. She turned 14 on Saturday and I can't believe how the time has flown.

Bella, all the best wishes for your operation. You will feel like a nooo yooo when you have recovered, I haven't met a woman yet who does not feel better for a hysterectomy.

Hi JVH - yes Ireland is a bit of a hike to attend a memorial especially when you have already said your good-bye's here. We all know you will be with them in spirit at the appointed time. Glad OH is off playing golf so you get some more 'me' time! Good luck with the house hunting will be great to live closer to your son and his angel.

Afternoon all.


Wet and cold here now. I think it is going to continue into the night. My hip is really aching from the cold. At least the dust is settled but in it's place there will be a giant mud pie. 😞

Did not do much today. Just went to the shop to grab a few things and a pair of new rubber thongs to use in the showers. Other than that just vegged out.

I have been busy on my day off catching up on things that needed doing:)
Such a sad happening happening up my way with a young girl of 9 abducted apparently and found dead this morning.
This world can be such a sad place:(

Thanks everyone for your well wishes and love. I'm doing ok just got out of hospital today, I had a few dramas but they are over now so concentrating on getting better.

OH has been wonderful, I came home to a nice clean house and he had re arranged my room for me so I can watch tv in bed, bless him lol

It's soooooo good to be home!!!! 🙂

Dame it is so sad what happened this morning. You put your children to bed and expect to find them there in the morning.

Well not much happening. Dinner is all cooked and keeping warm in the dream pot. Thai lemon grass pork and rice. Yummo.
