It's good to see another thread up and running but I'm concerned for Dame. She has such a lovely spirit and a wonderful heart.

Dame if you are out there, be encouraged! As I have said many times before you are a lovely lady who has a compassionate heart toward others. I'm sad you had to pull your thread but I want you know you are a truly special lady with a big heart and I for one have appreciated your friendship.

On another note, I am finally in my house after being homeless twice, its been a nightmare but am glad now that it appears all have worked out for the better 🙂

Goooooooooood morning to each and everyone of you........hope you are all in for a lovely quite day.......be kind to yourselfs and do something just for you:)

Was a good Stepford Wife this am and got up and made muffins for the OH to take to golf.......they are unbelievable to listen into whilst planning golfie.........and then they have a post match pull apart the night after.......wish i could tape record it:) BBL

Good morning all. A bit chilly here this morning. Been up and had my shower. Going to head over and do the washing soon. R is still snoring. LOL

Chit chit glad to see things have worked our well.

Pauline hope you feel better today. Pauline don't take offence at this please. Try not to take it too much to heart what is said on this forum. I used to get so upset once but now I do not worry so much. I just read some threads and do not post on them. Have copped some not so nice posts re some of the things I believe. You have enough problems on your plate in real life. Will definitely have a coffee with you when I get to Adelaide later this year.

Jen I think men are just little boys at heart. The same with R when he has been fishing. The stories etc. LOL

Well the ute will have a wheel alignment. And then we head out to Silverton for a picnic lunch and some sightseeing. I have rearranged the packing so this time we should be a lot quicker. Well that is my theory . LOL


Oh I meant to tell you about this lovely lady I met yesterday. She made my day. She finished chemo three weeks ago for ovarian cancer. Well her attitude was so sunny and happy. She had lost her hair, eyebrows and eyelashes. But she is still laughing and happy. Had a lovely talk to her and I just thought how amazing is that. And she is on the road traveling.

Jen I think it was you who said you had had BC. All I can say is well done on a courageous fight. I have had very little or any contact with anyone with cancer. So talking to this lady was very insightful.

Hugs Purps it was me that had the BC makes us into real tough old broads lol

And yes the whole mind and body character whatever totally changes after doing the Battle with the Beast........in saying that wouldnt wish it on anyone:)

Oh you lucky girl off to Silverton.........would love to see some pics from there if possible pleeeeeeeeeeeeease:)

JV, I also have had the battle and won, over BC. We really should have our own symbol ,for people who have come out the other side, shouldn't we? as a message of hope for those who are currently having treatment or putting off having it.

morning all, I feel ok this morning, still quite tired,so might go back to bed for a couple of hours,

pct i have always wanted to travel across this country of ours, but going through the outback, when you only hit a small town every now and then, but would love to do it by a huge semitrailer or big rig, listening to the chitchat on the cb radio and all the really nice country music, now that would be fun..
that will be good to see you and catchup for a cuppa!

Waiting, waiting. R has taken the ute for the wheel alignment. I stayed and did the battle for the washing machines. Be there five minutes after it finishes and you have lost it.

Good Morning all :-x

Went to a funeral Monday my great Uncle he was the last of his siblings all 9 of them felt really sad and envious of him you know like going up there to meet everyone like my Mum and Dad his Mum etc. Felt upset all Monday night thinking about it than a cool breeze blew in from the window and gently ruffled the sheet I had on top of me I imagined it was my Mum and Dad reassuring me somehow, silly I know. After the funeral we all sat around a pub and talked about old times with my cousins. Never see them any other time except at funerals I told them all I'd be next for the box.
