We are off on Tuesday on another adventure. This time up to Longreach. Have never been there before and really looking forward to it.

Working, working, working - and still missing the Scatty cat:-( - but, on the bright side, the house is so.... clean! Not a cat hair or kit lit fragment in sight!:-p
Had a lovely holiday in Port Douglas!
pj sounds ok and sorry purps has had to drop out - but what's best for her is best for her!

It's been raining buckets here in Wollongong and we expect more!
Ah well , all the tanks are full, and I'm not in a possible evacuation area, so, just watching the vegies grow and looking forward to a lazy weekend!

Hi Scatty

It's been six months since we lost our Milo and I still expect him to greet me when I come in to door.

Yes - I can identify with the cat hair (or lack thereof). Milo was a long haired cat and left his hair all over the place.

Glad you enjoyed Port Douglas. We did not get up that far but will go there next time. OH's uncle had pearl boats up there.

ahh rosie, i would love to go to longreach, want to see the Hall of Fame out there, i love adventures, but dont have too many friends that like or want to travel
, you must post some pics on your return , would luv to see them

I have had a cosy afternoon cooking, made a supply of stuff to freeze so dinner is not so much of a hassle when I finish work
also made some anzac biscuits and oops forgot to put in the coconut, but they still taste yummy


and how dare the Blues loose, so not happy about that , my coworker is a maroons fan so will get heaps tommorrow

Hi and have you thought of hiring a camper and driving out to Longreach...........there is a great crew at Burleigh.........their campers are always spotless...........is a great and different way to travel

Hi Scatty and i bet it was magic up in Port Douglas..........havent been up that way for years and years...........the blood pressure seemed to be improving but this afternoon and he had no exertion etc.........it started to play up again.............and of course he refuses point blank to go to the docs ggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Gooooooooooooooood evening everyone

After reading Scattys note about her fur baby got me thinking about the fur babies that i have had that have gone over the rainbow bridge..........one simply never forgets them or the joy they bring to so many lifes.

Good to see so many popping in and that everyone seems to be in fine form as my Irish friend used to say:) Thanks everyone for asking after the OH......i have to get him to the docs tomorrow.........but can see a battle royal emerging....................men can be so stubborn grrrrr lol

Oh well all i can do is be there..........and watch him like a hawk.....at least hes taking his meds without me reminding him:)

Aww thanks scatty, I glad you are not in an evacuation area and that the tanks are full. Sorry to hear about scatty cat 😞 LOL at the cat hair. I have three pretties, they are ratbags I tell you. I've just discovered they got my couch and put a few holes in the side. Despite their elaborate cat posts, apparently the couch is more appealing:|

Still I lubs them and at the end of the day there is nothing a cuddle won't solve lol 🙂 Sorry to hear PCT dropped out, please send her my love and let her know that she has a lot of friends here who appreciate and support her.
