Hi JVH fingers crossed your team wins tonight!
Anniversaries are sad sometimes - can't believe it has already been almost a year since you lost your lovely mum! ((hugs)).
My neice (due to the nature of disease) has to have the casts removed every 2 days and then is re-casted straight away. Tedious process sadly.

Hi everyone...

Am much better pain wise as to back but just had bad news about my mum (lung cancer, its on the cancer thread). Don't want to go into it too much here.

We were promised a warm 21 degree day. what a joke. Its been grey and cold all day today. But OH did the garden and it looks so nice looking out at it now.

I have been on phone most of the day so its nice to pull back a bit now. we are about to have an early dinner soon, and spend the evening together. OH has to work tomorrow so it will be a quiet day for me.

Yes i cant believe it either that its a year since she passed over........your little niece has to be a real trooper.........has to be tedious having to have the casts changed so often......lets hope they are doing their part of the job:)

Morning all.

Taking the grandsons to Maccas for breakfast this morning. Then I will be going for a walk late this arvo. We are out for a family dinner tonight. Sort of a thank you farewell meal. I am going to miss them but I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the family and travelling again.

Another warm day here I think. Anything above 25 is hot to me. LOL

Other than that not much happening. Have a great day everyone.

Yes it will do that to you every time.....you are under an enormous amount of stress and sorrow with your Mumma and her diagnosis.........it will drain you and make you feel like a limp rag.........rest when you can .........take care of you .......and try and keep your spirits up........your little angel doggie is just the tonic for you:)

Hi JVH hope you are having a top weekend! Yes tedious for my neice - the casts are to stretch her muscles which deteriorate due to her ailment. The are removed every 48hrs - she is given physio - then re-casted. Legs seem to be affected the worst even though it affects all her muscles.

Beani ((hugs)) - so very sorry and wish so hard a fast and full recovery to your ma. (Sun is out today hope you get to enjoy some sunshine in your day!)
