Afternoon all from Longreach.

Had a lovely stay in Alpha. Meeting people who know your family from years ago is great.

Tomorrow we are going to the Stockmans Hall of Fame. Looking forward to that. Thursday off to stock up for the trip to Normanton. Milk bread and some beer for R and a couple of wines for me. Pretty expensive up in those areas. Should be there at least a week. So about 2 weeks until we get to Townsville.

Kerry sorry to hear about the jobs. Bit disheartening but keep trying.

Pauline hope all goes well for you.

Jen yep got to love earphones. They enable me to hear the telly more clearly. I have aids in both ears but they do not seem to help with telly that much.

Hot here today. I just realised I have no shorts. Argghh going to be visiting the op shop if I can find one. No Big W or any major stores here. Had a look but $70 for a pair of shorts to go fishing in, I think not.Lol.

Karen I hope your grandson is well soon. So scarey.

Hi Purps and sounds marvellous going to the Stockmans Hall of Fame........we have been promising each other to go ie hire a camper and do it that way but with Mother like she is a big big trip like that is right out of the question unfortunately:(

Hey all, home again and have eaten YAY!!!! was not too bad, was totally knocked out, took me a while to wake up , but for the most part it was ok, the results are in and it shows that I have gastric reflux, a peptic ulcer and bile is emptying into my stomach, so its off to the doctors again to see where to from here!

well gonna do some dishes and then hit the sack!

Hi Bear yes i bet you are jiggered..........well it looks as though the Docs are getting to the bottom of the health issues for you:)

My smiley boy is home and I spent the night getting up and down, along with his mum, every time he made a sound. Yesterday in the hospital he would seem better than go down again very quickly. Fortunately, he is really good when he is unwell and takes medications etc well.
This morning he is ok but still very laboured breathing.
His cousin, miss 2, now has a severe cold and is not the best sick patient! Any ideas for getting panadol into a child when they say no? except by force? her temp is up so I am doing the tepid sponge thing in the meantime and will try the meds later.
So, today we are watching a dvd, over and over and over..... get the picture? I have also had to set up a train track and have a stack of books to read them.
No one is eating but drinking heaps which is good.

Hi and great to hear that the little one is out of Hospital and lets hope going from strenght to strenght

Mother was quite miserable today.........so hopefully they will up her meds.....totally disinterested in lunch etc:(

Just popping in to say hello. Been to the Stockmans Hall of Fame. Fantastic place. I so enjoyed it.

Oh wow Purps was so hoping that you would both enjoy it........is it a whole day out thing just wondering so if we ever get some slack i can start planning etc:)
