Good morning all. Busy day ahead. We are in Brisbane until 19th November. Will have two weeks to get to Melbourne to catch the ferry on 4th December. Looking forward to it.

Having a massive spring clean here. Have a skip arriving today.

You sound busy busy as a bee...........but boy does it feel good to have a huge tip out and tidy...........thankfully when i started on my mothers clean up i had the presence of mind to order a tip about one week into the start of everything............would then turf everything into the garage and the OH would load from there.........luckily the skip guy was very understanding and still is..........:)

Well I didnt pick the melb cup this year. My horse came third though.

I know my horseflesh up to a point.

Gotta go, lots of parcels still to make up. hate doing it but a beani's work is never done.

Good morning to the thread:)
Pouring cats and dogs today up my way at fraser coast
Had a lovely day yesterday seeing the new babe and she behaved so well, a real cutie and Mum was wrapped lol
Ash packs his clothes up every morning to go home so staff have locked his cupboard
Couldnt find the new tv yesterday and eventually found it wrapped in his coat on his chair, so had to put it back and hopefully he will leave it be, it is only a small one and they are so light now the new lcd ones so he can easily get it off the unit lol

Yes Dame that is so so sad...........and a lot of child like qualities rear their head when they have dementia. My mother had to have her hair brush removed from her as she used to belt everyone including the staff with it...........Mother had periods of full on violence unfortunately:(

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaaa and all that jazz end of the week...........and i think the OH is golfing with one of his sons this arvo..........plus a couple of his grandies..........i was asked if i wanted to go but i passed ..........told him it would be good to have a boys only afternoon:)

HOpe everyone has a magic day planned:)

LOL well make sure you have fun too and definitely get up to mischief 😉 Going to be busy busy busy here sorting this place out. DD12 wil be gone at 6am tomorrow for a sports competition, OH is off cycling and I'll be pottering around with the older girls.

Well no rain today so have been up bright and early getting the washing out and hopefully the wind will dry it:)
I am off to pick Mum up to go and see Ash
We visit quite frequently but he does not remember most times that we have been so it is a tad sad

HI Dame yes you find that they cant remember if you have been there an hour ago or a week ago.........is truly a horrible illness..........i do hope that Ash is settling in and im sure the staff are wonderful also.........

Lol JVH hope you took advantage of the day - I just adore having the house to myself too. (Guys didn't lob back here after lunch yesterday thank goodness tho OH didn't get home till 5!)

Dame ((hugs)) - extremely sad for Ash but he is so lucky to have you!

Sadly my uncle passed away (expected after long illness) - but has still rocked me a bit. Funeral not till rememberance day as a special day for our family.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! OH going interstate sunday for business Monday and I'm having my neice all to myself all weekend - yay!

Hugs Miss and so very sorry to hear about your loss...........and nothing ever seems to prepare one for that final curtain call...........no matter how ill the person has been or how aged and frail etc.

How lovely you have your little niece to brighten your weekend.........and yes heard from my son and our Angel and they are all settled at Shell Harbour ready for the wedding tomorrow........will def. not be a dry wedding a lot of the boys got together for the races and the wedding is a continous thing lol

Yes always marvellous to have the house to oneself one can get so much done:)
