Purple have actually been to Mallacutta and Pakenham - great pubs in Mallacutta a lovely country town - Pakenham is much busier these days - enjoy!

Hes a little better today but far from well..........took him of course to the docs yesterday.

We were hoping to go away on Monday for a couple of days but doesnt look that hopeful:(

Morning all. Cool and overcast today. Blasted hayfever has gotten me. Got my script filled. So hoping it works. Or $60 down the drain.

Leave for Pakenham tomorrow. Our bookings for the parks there and in Tassie are done. yay.

Hope all is well with everyone. Have a great day and enjoy your weekend whatever you are doing. I will be on the road for around 6 hours tomorrow so that takes care of that day. lol

Purps have you tried Rhyacrom........think it was called a powdered capsule that one put onto an inhalent up the nose and coated the air passages.

Have also found taking cod liver oil caps that that helps heaps with the hayfever.........do hope you feel better soon:)

Good morning and the OH still poleaxed with the wog.........and boy do men make bad patients:) Hes a person that is very very rarely ill so to have a wog he simply cant handle it...........give me strenght to get through the next few days:)

Good morning to the thread:)
Looks like rain up my way again, the weather is really odd these days:(
I am off to the home today and Ash is rather quiet, think the meds have taken hold.
My life is really tinged with sadness these days but I guess it is all something we face as we get older, I do hope though I do not end up in a nursing home, I admire the staff but I think I would much rather go out with a bang than being in aged care.

Finally stopped raining up my way now its just hot and humid.
Beanie good to c yr back safe and sound I bet yr doggie missed you.
I'm with u Dame my nan was in a home for about 20 years with alzimers and she was like a live rotting corpse terrible way to go.
Omg Jv does that mean no golf for the OH he must be fretting by now if that's the case, lol.

Yes no golf girl he was supposed to be playing in a Charity fund raiser for the Salvos today...............and yes there is no way hes going to golf on Monday...........hell be going to the docs on Monday unless hes vastly improved

Hello everyone 🙂

Good to be back, though getting no work done lately.... oh well, who cares? LOL

I am resting up from the trip, it went pretty well, my Mum is amazing and will start chemo very shortly.

I have been given three rings by Mum.... I think she intends it as a remembrance of her if she doesnt make it.... but I dont need gifts to celebrate a woman like her... she is incredible and I hope that it all works out well and she is with us for much longer.

It was good to be up there and see for myself how she is handling things, saw all my sisters, the nieces and spent heaps of time with the family. I will hopefully go again in the new year.

A lovely board member has indicated that pjbear is back in the hospital - sending huge ((hugs)) and get well wishes! Fingers crossed she will be out before Xmas as she hopes!

Took my mum to vote today and a shop now have to get OH re-packed and organized for the airport tomorrow. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!
