Glad you are home safe and sound JVH and settling in! Hope you enjoyed the coffee with your sons friend and his mother.

new neighbors have put in very established bamboo bushes along our fenceline hope they don't grow wild and onto our property don't know much about them only recall lots of people complaining about them.

Home and settling down for a lazy night. Early start in the am for a shopping day.

Hi Miss and not sure about any bamboo but know that it can grow totally wild.......maybe sneak a cutting and take it to a nursery and they will tell you what type of bamboo it is?

Yes was good to catch up with the family this am........and they bought their new baby.......a little boy so of course had to goo and gaa over him as well

Went for my walk added an extra 13 minutes but didnt go up the hills gotta build up my fitness after 5 days off.

IPOd was playing up I had it in my shirt than transfered it to my arm and it seemed to behave itself looking at buying an ipod touch but would prefer to hang onto the one I have 4 as long as possible.

Started to spit on the last couple of minutes of my walk.

Kebabs and veges for dinner again, Sunday nights are usually kebab night, lol.

Aftrnoon JVH and Kezza

Good idea re the cutting of the bamboo JVH thank you at least will get a heads up of what to expect and how to handle. Prior to the bamboo it was a wild blackberry bush they had so this has to be an improvement hopefully!

Enjoy the kebabs Kezza - I would be avoiding the hills too - hope the iPod just needs a charge up!

Came home empty handed and tired from the shops - at least I tried! Getting ready to take the pooch and spend the night at my mums as the tiles are coming up tomorrow at 7am - hope its a go this time! Not sure if I will be staying away one or two nights - will still be on-line at any rate.

Went for my walk did an extra 25 mintues, ipod only played up a little I think the buttons get stuck occassionally hoping it can hold out to the 20th of June when we get the school kids bonus.

I do an extra few mintues of walking to justify my peanut butter and toast treat for supper, lol...

Afternoon all!

Hi JVH those treats sound yummy especially as haven't eaten since breakfast! Went to the factory outlets and came out to a flat tyre! Did manage to find some new boots for winter tho lol! Fortunately there was a service station next to the carpark and the tyre seems ok now but may be a slow puncture was pretty flat - was only a 40min drive home along the freeway.

Can't go home tonight balcony only halfway taken up and vulnerable to the weather downstairs underneath will stay another night with my mum. Going to take her out for dinner tonight pending the tyre being ok otherwise will phone the RACV and get them to put the spare on for me. OH is going to brave the night at home as tradies hopefully coming back first thing tomorrow and the house is quite vulnerable tonight. Besides think if I look at the destruction to my beautiful balcony I will cry lol!

Hi Miss and what an eventful day for you with a dammed flat tyre..........and yes leaving the house open to the four winds because of tradies is not a good look

Will they have it finished tomorrow or at least till lock up stage
