Thanks,(I always tick yes for the events were the option to play matchplay comes up)
Well done,(it's always great getting a good score in a stroke event).
I know that format well and it's one reason that I'm glad my OH doesn't play golf,(good luck tomorrow)

.... and the 2015 Mixed Foursomes Champions are Mr & Mrs Lurker
88 off the stick, we won by 1 shot. We thought we had blown it when we double bogied 14 & 15 but hung on to get home by the skin of our teeth. Doing the happy dance now

Well done to both of you,
The two of you must have combined well,(foursomes can be a real challenge keeping your composure if one
of the partners duffs a shot)

We won the final 5/4,(we combined well)
Didn't play Tuesday or Thursday as the Hammy is still playing up and I didn't want it worse for today.

Well done! That's a great result!
We played foursomes again today, but not mixed this time. Not as successful as last week lol. We may have had the worst score I think

Did you happen to see the news item about the 2 new courses on King Island? They look pretty nice

I don't watch TV but I ust had a look.
Being links courses they would be challenging,(especially along the sea side).
We played St Anna's in Scotland and it was a links course,(but these look even tighter and would need very
accurate shots).
They do look nice and it would a good experience playing on them.
Kangaroo Island is getting a new links course as well,(which would be very picturesque):

We were lucky enough to play at St Andrews last year on the Jubilee course. We loved it, it was a great privilege made even better by being with two locals (one a tenuous relative). I do like links golf - until the wind blows lol

We went to the museum and course in 2000 but I'd had another operation so couldn't play.
Tuesday I had square playing par on the Red nine and Thursday was 18 points on the Blue.
Saturday we had 87 points playing Irish fourball,(finished 4th).
I've played Port Fairy a few times and it can turn into a monster when the wind blows,(it's a links type course),
