See!!,ultra consistent,
I played 18 holes on the Lakes and know how you feel,(one under the card after 5 holes which turned into a 38
off the stick on the front and followed by a 46 on the back for a nett 74),
We play the Murray on Saturday and I totally agree that if greens are getting cored you should only be paying
reduced green fees,(it's different for us as it's part of the course maintenance the same as the thatching
that's done in Spring).
Good luck, hopefully you'll beat the 30 points today,

74 is very respectable! I'm impressed It is annoying when you start well but don't carry through with it.
33 points today!!!!!
Last night tonight, we all head for home tomorrow. It's been a great week and we'll all be back next March to do it all again

It was annoying but I know it's there sometimes,(just need it all together at the same time),
Well done, you must be getting used to the irons,(you'll rip the course apart back home),
Safe trip back and "see" you next year,
The next 7 days are,38,38,39,39,39,40,40,with minimums between 20 and 22,
We now need colder weather to control the Blue,Green Algae outbreak,(hopefully it doesn't affect the
watering of the course).
Where we live the river water irrigation has been shut down because of it,

Monthly medal day yesterday and I had a 74 nett again on the Murray this time,(winner had 70),
On of the pro's kids had a 60 nett on the Lakes,

Thanks,
He is the son of one of the pros that works in the shop,(most of their off spring are good players).
Although there is one of them that works in the shop who has no interest in playing,(he's the son of one of the
shop owners).

Nett 73 today in the medal round Tied 1st with 2 others so now we have to play off next month. But I did win the day, ocb *doing the happy dance*
A week in your neck of the woods must have done me good
Funny thing though. I managed to leave my driver at home this morning (it's a long story) so phoned my OH to drop it into the Proshop for me to pick up when we went through after 6. When I got there it was wearing a brand new grip! The assistant pro had regripped mine instead of the other one that had been dropped in Winner again!

Well done,
All that playing here must have done some good,(especially leaving the Murray course till last).
Good luck in the playoff,(here it just goes on a countback, which you must have won),
New grip is another bonus.
I had a shocking 31 points on the Lake on Tuesday playing 18 holes and it was a real struggle over the last
6 holes as the leg was playing up,(walked the course),
Not playing tomorrow to give it a rest,

Played the Lakes for 34 points yesterday,15 and 19 points,(first time in months that I've scored better on the
back than the front),
Chipping was hopeless,(not a single one of them landed within 10 foot of the pin)

34 points, that's ok. I reckon anything that starts with a 3 isn't too disastrous. Do you think the back nine on the lake is harder than the front? I do. It always feels much longer for a start.
We have 4 sets of rated tees on our course. The men use only the whites (possibly because they think it's "soft" to play anything other than the tips - I dunno), while the women can access a pink course (maybe that's another reason ), the red (where we usually play) and a short yellow course. Yesterday we offered players the choice of the pink or yellow. Most chose the yellow but a few of us tried the pink. At a slope rating of 148 it is apparently the hardest course for women in NSW.
Man was it looooong! It's basically the men's white tees with a couple of slightly shorter water carries. The winner only managed 30 points. I got 26, which I was reasonably happy with considering. It was fun, I hope we do it again more regularly.
My electric buggy is still playing up. It only lasted half a round yesterday before I gave in and hopped in a cart. They are so good when they work but a pain in the butt when they don't .... ggggrrrr.
Are you a pull buggy type or electric, or do you do the impressive carry bag thing?
