How did your Open go and have you recovered?

It went well thanks.  A few managed to find fault, but all the winners seemed to be grinners. You know how it goes.  If your putts don't drop its the green keepers fault.  If they do it's because you're a great putter 

I had a bit of a shocker, but wasn't expecting much else considering my prep.  Having a very quiet day today.

How has all the mid week golf gone? I played on Wednesday, but not terribly well. Had a couple of pars but a few blow outs as well. Monthly Medal, so I was always on a hiding to nothing 😄

I'm off to visit my mum for a few days so no golf for me for a couple of weeks.

Played 9 holers on Tuesday for a 38 nett,

Had to go to Melboune on Wednesday ,(so no golf Thursday).

Had 30 points today playing Montly medal in a Stableford format,(34 points won and we can't play stroke

because of early morning fog and it getting dark early).

We generally have full fields and the visitors as well,(so there is groups going out every 8 minutes so it

becomes a very slow round),

Ugh Slow Round. The worst words in golf. I'm not a runner, but slow rounds drive me nuts. When I used to play in the city it was 4 hours max. These days on the coast 4.5 is okay, but much more than that is cutting into my 19th hole time 😄

No richo. Just a quick trip this time visiting family.

There may be a week of NZ golf in the planning for next year 😉

Played a 9 hole 4BBB on the front nine of the Lake course on Tuesday but only got 18 points between us,

Second round today on the "easier" executive course.

I'm back from my family visiting trip and now off tomorrow to play in the Ace of Clubs at and around Merimbula. 5 rounds in 6 days over 4 courses. And, of course, the associated socialising each evening with the 6 other couples we go with.
We have done the same event for the past 7 years. It's always a great week, but very tiring and a bit tough on the liver LOL
