...so is it too late to re-route that waste of funds to SPC as should have been done in the first place?

The Cadbury Easter creme eggs (sold individually) are now made in England, no longer made from Dairy Milk chocolate as before, but from a standard cocoa mix chocolate (blerk) - cheaper.
Cadbury are removing one row (10%) from their blocks instead of putting their price up. Companies can't keep doing that, there will be no product left.
Lots of alternative brands anyway...

The same punishment of Australian farmers and Aussie factory workers you proposed in the other thread
by " keep the access available while pricing them out of using it", thereby ensuring the company would
end up importing all the meat required ?

Of the 3 things you list, I'd say the 3rd one is the only one that has had bearing on what is going on.
Their is also a lot for competition out there than 5 years ago.
Would be interested to know why you think paying for Halal certification would make a huge impact ?
Yes, wasn't that long ago that Lindt and Nestle only had about 5 varieties on the supermarket shelves. Cadbury had a monopoly for many years. Consumers have more choice now.
