What are your thoughts on Cadbury, their sales have fallen into a huge heap in the second half of the year.
Is it a result of Cadbury changing the formula to remove pig fats to gain Halal certification that has affected the texture and flavor of their product,
or is it a back lash from people boycotting Cadbury due to the Halal certification and sending a message to them
The Hobart Cadbury factory will close its doors for five weeks at the end of this year.

what ever the reason it would seem they have made some huge mistakes that have effected sales

It is rather sick and pathetic.
Last week they had a photo of some of their members decked out in fighting gear with signs threatening violence upon anyone who doesn't agree with their particular brand of bigotry.
They're too stupid to notice the chocolates are on sale because of the best before date.

And while i was looking around I found this statement from Lindt chocolate
http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/12/17/lindt-halal-chocolate_n_6338886.html
Various right-wing organisations such as The Australian Tea Party have shown support for what they claim is Lindt's refusal to "pay Islamic tax" or contribute to an apparent Islamisation of food.
When asked about the allegations, Lindt told The Huffington Post: "This is not really correct, we don't refuse to halal certify our product, we just don't do it.
"We just make chocolate for everyone. We have a completely neutral position to political and religious issues."
The groups who oppose Halal certification were backed by an Australian MP in 2011, who claimed that forcing citizens to "unwittingly" buy Halal foods was leading to a nationwide conversion to Islam.

The Swiss have been known for neutrality in the past.
