My TV is compatible with the new channels and I've retuned it but can't get GEM. When I press 92 it shows as Gem then immediately switches to 9HD. If I press the 90 which used to be gEM it is showing as 9HD (which it should) but no Gem.
Any ideas please? Gem would be one of my favourite channels, dang it.

Ok tks, I posted and he replied to try a factory reset. Does anyone know what that does, I'm scared of losing everything.

A factory reset is the same as a fresh reinstall
It returns the equipment back to the state you purchased it in.
You'd then need to run a new scan to locate all the available channels.

Bummer, I just rang Soniq TV and they said it's because my tv runs via a PVR (doesn't everyone's???) which in turn is connected to the roof antenna.
He said a factory reset wouldn't work and I have to contact the PVR maker (Topfield) to get their advice.
I can see me going round and roound in circles and am now wondering is there any way to undo the retune i did.......I care more about having gem back than the new HD clarity.

that's weird.
a factory reset should be able
to get gem back for you.

Go to settings, select auto tune Press start it will erase previous channels and it will retune all available channels then you need to delete what you don't want and keep what you want.
