No.

Had you run out of TV chocolates?

Get over yourself...I don't even like chocolate.

What  I meant was the way he was leading her into the tangle of lies she was telling, and bringing her to tears, again and again. I mean really, is this fair dinkum journalism, or just playing to an audience?

We know she was lying. We know she was out for a quick buck.

Ok she did her time. She survived a hard time in prison in Columbia and came out  ok.

Did she learn her lesson? Who knows?

It was sickening to watch Liam Bartlett keep at her trying to get her to make admissions we already knew about, and watch her  break into tears.

Hardly professional journalism.

They must be hard up for real news,is all I can say.

the comercial tv stations are never going to be a good example of 'real news'

they have to make a profit these days and have let even shows like '60 minutes' slip into the 'cheque book journalism' catagory.

they have lost there 'cutting edge' hard news angle a long time ago.

remember the days of george negus and yana wendt?

going where you really shouldnt?

now its interviews with drug mules and a 'producer' with an onion making sure the tears are flowing.

It was sad watching this seasoned journalist making mincemeat out of a silly girl. I had to turn it off and go to bed.

It's a damn disgrace. They attack the ABC and this gutter

cheque book foot in door journalism never appears to be

scrutinized. I can't find it in my heart to feel sorry for her.

She knew what she was doing and knew the consequences

for her actions if caught. The tears she shed were for herself

not for the those who may have died due to her selfish actions.

Well, neither can I. Point is, why try to get her to confess and regress and bring her to tears for misdemeanours we know about and she's already served time for?

It'was just sheer bullying by Liam Bartlett to get ratings. **bleep** poor IMO!

Drug smuggling, actual or attempted, is hardly a misdemeanour.

She has her regrets. Why condemn her when there are so many big time drug traffickers  we should be going after?

not for the those who may have died due to her selfish actions.

Many have died of COVID-19  imported from overseas than would have died through this misguided girl's actions. Which she was punished for.
