Never have more passionate words fallen from the lips of one of our greatest Aussie thespians.
Yes, this is going to be a contentious statement, but, we've got to admit, if anyone is going to know the best time to drop an F-bomb for emphasis, that person would be Cate Blanchett.
The Aussie darling, fresh from winning the Best Actress Oscar for her role in 'Blue Jasmine,' was being corralled into a Q and A in the press room following her big win.
Fielding questions from journalists, one Aussie reporter had a poignant question for Our Cate.
"You are the first Australian actor or actress ever to win two Oscars…" the journalist began, before Cate jumped in, quipping: "And don't you f**king forget it!"
I wish ppl wouldn't think themselves terribly avant-garde by dropping the f-bomb. It's uncouth and totally spoiled Cate's glamour for me.
Solved! Go to Solution.

I agree here Icy.
Her comment unfortunately, just showed her aussie bogan side.....shame, as she has presented herself as someone who was more chic than that... oh well......I guess not......

Nicole Kidman could have theoretically become our first two - time Oscar winner, has she not become pregnant and pulled out of "The Reader."
She might still win an Oscar for "Grace of Monaco". The trailer looks good.
I kind of think of Cate as a poor man's Nicole Kidman. Nicole is more attractive and glamourous in my opinion. Greater star quality. She also has natural grace and not the affected ice cool blonde routine Cate adopts. A total phony but a good actress.
Although I didn't think her performance in Blue Jasmine warranted even a nomination. A delayed consolation prize for missing out on Elizabeth.

It must have been hard for Nicole Kidman watching Kate Winslet win an Oscar for a role offered to her first.
What's worse is that that year, five previous notable actresses were presenting Best Actress (instead of the Best Actor from the year before as per tradition) and Nicole was one of the five handing Winslet the Oscar. She was so generous in her praise of Winslet as she handed over the award...

No, it doesn't.
Mixed company is: "A gathering of people consisting of members of both sexes", age is irrelevant and not part of the accepted definition.

For **bleep**s sake .
Cate used the F word OMG! Call the Queen!
Cate didn't call anyone a **bleep** er or a **bleep** wit or a **bleep** head. She didn't insult anyone.
Using the F word as an emphasis is hardly **bleep**ing newsworthy.
