I happened to mention today in the staff lunchroom how much I liked vegemite and cheese sandwiches. Someone else said they had heard of cheese and vegemite AND salt &vinegar chips.
I'm going to try it.
Do you have a weird sandwich combination?

If you buy vegemite you are promoting cruelty to animals.
😮 How does the purchase of vegemite promote cruelty to animals?
Vegemite is certified halal and kosher. You will see the label on the back of the jar.
ie: sheep for example are not allowed to be slaughtered by first stunning rendering the animal unconscious. To get this certification the animal MUST be killed with a knife to the throat / slitting it. The animal is held down, terrified and slowly killed. The RSPCA has been trying for years to ban this. This is why buying vegemite promotes cruelty to animals. Any product or company with halal and kosher on the label will not get any business from me.

Vegemite is certified Halal and Kosher because it doesn't have any animal products in it at all. Vegemite ingredients are technically vegan.

Oh right. I have noticed the Kosher and Halal symbols on the jar. I thought these also represented the tax that these companies collect every time a jar sells, they recieve point something of a cent. Which seems minute, but add it up over a million units. These organisations make bucket loads from slapping their symbols on the jars...
I'm totally against Kosher and Halal slaughter as well 🙂

Oh I hadn't even thought of the economics of it! All the more reason to boycott it!
Australia really is a big cash cow.
Moo!

Never heard of the 4 in one chip, but everyone knows Salt & Vinegar chips are abundant, and a couple of years ago, we had Cheese and Vegemite chips here for a limited time. Very nice too, like a very convenient, crunchy C&V sandwich....... or 3.......

Or did I read it all wrong?
