My items from China were held in Sydney for over two months. Personally I am steering clear of all International purchases at this time.

A bit hard to steer clear of purchasing from China when they falsley claim
from Australia. You wait with a tracking number for currently 8 days
and the item still isn't showing in AP tracking. The middle man lives
in a PO box in Vic.

My previous items were 2 months plus but I thought I would test the waters - as I have published here seems their supply chain for export items is operational and even faster than before the contagion.
I do wonder how thick their newspaper situations vacant is now....
US purchases have been as expected ( although twice as long to deliver and twice as expensive now )

A little difficult, I agree, however, the user name sometimes gives a clue as well as the feedback and whether or not GST was added. The majority of Chinese have heaps of bad feedback. Going to the Seller's profile should show which Country they are in, and if Australia is a middle man, you are still dealing with someone in Australia. There are some bad Australian sellers as well, so nothing is a guarantee.

My experience also. I have had many, many successful purchases from China. However, I do carefully read and assess the feedback. It is not difficult to figure out just how deserved the feedback is. For example, I ignore the ones who complain about the quality of a $2 item, and the ones who are happy but still leave a negative or neutral feedback. I also ignore the ones who expected a ridiculously quick delivery. Many buyers are unreasonable and will leave a negative which is often undeserved and it is not hard to spot these and discount them when assessing a Seller. What I look for are patterns of several negative feedbacks all having a legitimate complaint.
