A great many are complaining but those same people had any number of excuses for

buying products manufactured or processed in China.

Rather than spend a few extra cents on local products we packed our money of in

neat little packets to China and now it's coming back to buy us out.

Don't worry, I am also pointing the finger at the guy I see in my mirror.

You can't blame consumers for manufacturing going off shore.
There isn't one greedy CEO that ever sacrificed their millions of dollars in salary to keep manufacturing in their country. They all support finding the cheapest labour in any country to increase profits.

Do you mean that if I buy something from you the money I paid to you is still mine? 

Australia is not the only country in the world that buys Chinese goods, actually if Australia stopped buying from China they would not even notice.  Not to mention that some of the money we spend on buying goods from China is the money we made selling coal and iron ore to them, so to follow your logic it is actually Chinese money anyway.  🙂
