A man who allegedly sparked a Christmas Day siege on the Gold Coast has appeared in court on charges of attempted murder and keeping a rabbit. Anthony Shane Randall, 36, was arrested on Christmas morning after a lengthy stand-off with police during which he allegedly fired gunshots in Southport. Randall came to the attention of police on Christmas Eve when he was involved in a dispute and allegedly ordered another man into a car against his will. During the argument a first gunshot was allegedly fired.
He then fled to a nearby unit complex on White Street and allegedly fired another shot when police negotiators and specialist officers surrounded the building. The siege came to a head about 11am local time on Thursday when Randall surrendered. He appeared in the Southport Magistrates Court on Friday morning, charged with attempted murder, assault occasioning bodily harm, unlawful possession of a weapon and deprivation of liberty. Randall also had more charges added to his list prior to the appearance, including going armed so as to cause fear, possessing explosives, and keeping a declared pest (a rabbit). He did not seek bail and his case was adjourned until January 9.

Can I get some opinions here? because the parts I have in bold, seem similar to what happened some time ago at my bank. I'm banned from the bank now, I'll be arrested if I go there, but they refuse to close out my account unless I come in person to do so.
Ok, I go in for a bank statement I need to take to "job and family services" Get the copy, come out back to my car and a crazy woman in a much nicer newer car has blocked me in, She was not going to let me leave because she was so sure the old beat up truck i'm driving, was stolen from her father. I'm trying to be nice here, I don't have the title with me, but do have my drivers liscense, and being in a hurry to make it to job and family services before they close, I asked her to take down the serial numbers from the dash of the truck, and information from my liscense, but no, she refuse to let me leave. She gonna have me arrested for having her dads truck.
Once I seen I couldn't reason with her, I get in my truck, and she accuse me of getting ready to back into her car. Her car was really nice and my truck was not. Even so, smashing up her car never crossed my mind, I was just trying to get my thoughts together, and figure a way to avoid the police. I'm not good with cops as you might guess. It really shakes me.
I went back into the bank, they couldn't help me, they really had no idea what to do. I'm trying to call anyone for help, But no such luck.
The police came, they treated this woman who was clearly out of her mind, like gold she was brave to stand up to me she was a hero ! After the cops convienced her, this was NOT, her father's stolen truck, No "i'm sorrys" no apoligys, Shes on her way, free to go. When I ask why they let my abducter go, after she held me captive against my will, a cop gets mad, goes into the bank, and tells them to trespass me from their property, and to call them if i show back up.
Your opinions? was I abducted? not allowed to leave? this car behind me and a large curb in the front with manicured grass (bank property) I didn't want to damage.
