MP Clive Palmer has told the host of the ABC's Lateline program to 'shut up' during a heated interview. Palmer was being challenged by Tony Jones over his views on climate change, and asked Jones to 'shut up' and let him answer, adding the pair could have a fight if Jones wanted. Candidates of the Palmer United party are up for election in the West Australian Senate vote this weekend
LOL!

They're as bad as each other, IMO, Lakes, but Tony was the one that ended shutting up, wasn't he?

That show gave me a good laugh.
Clive Palmer came across as an ignorant nong. I always thought that a man like him must have some brains to accumulate the wealth he has. But that show proved that he is mindboggingly stupid and full of himself.
I suspect that Tony Jones had a really hard time keeping a straight face throughout.

Not really. Jones generally had the upper hand (not just on this section but throughout the show) because every time he queried Palmer on the absurdity of some of his statements, Palmer just got blustery. Telling Jones to " shut up" was simply because he didn't know what else to say I suspect and that was very clear if you were watching.

well his job is to interview. palmer exposing himself in that way is palmers problem. he came off looking the buffoon he is . jones was unmoved and carried on regardless. palmer hung himself with his childish replies.

Yes. Good point boris.
If Palmer was left wing instead of merely a prat, then the right would have started 3 threads on the subject by now lol.
